publications:The Pentecostal "Ordo Salutis" M. Div. Thesis Mennonite Brethern Biblical Seminary 1994. Apostolic Pentecostalism: The Creation, Persecution, and Transformation of an American Religious Subculture. Proposed PH. D. Thesis
ecumenical: Involved in discussions of Apostolic, i. e. Oneness, Pentecostal theology. Developing a framework for the reconcilation of Apostolic and Trinitarian Pentecostals.
justice, peace, creation: I have written an article entitled "Discovering an Apostolic Heritage" which investigates the departure of Apostolic Pentecostals from pacifism and social action.
comments I am in the process of presenting Apostolic Pentecostalism from a postmodern perspective as an authentic expression of the Christian faith. My research will demostrate that Apostolic Pentecostal theology arises organically from the living faith of the Apostolic community, is consistent with the Pentecostal experience of the baptism in the Holy Spirit and emphasis upon scriptures in the book of Acts, and articulates a Christian doctrine of God.

ecumenical: Sunday school teacher; deacon
justice, peace, creation: I must say these are immensely broad and complex issues. . .the most succint thing I can say is that I believe in divinely orchestrated evolution. Justice is naturally half of the riv which Yahweh expresses through the prophets, and the lack of justice is thus at least half of the reason why the covenant was revoked. Most conservatives seem to not be particularly concerned with alleviating the suffering of others. Meanwhile, liberals tend to not be particularly interested in the other half of the riv, fidelity to Yahweh alone. Peace and justice are obviously the undergirding of the Kingdom, both mundane and heavenly.
